Our Piper is a Champion!
At age 12 Aaron Todd was the 2004 Grade 4 Jr. Champion and Piobaireachd
Gold Medalist in the EUSPBA; and at 13, as Pipe Sergeant for the Greater
Richmond Pipes & Drums, he led his band as pipe major on the field to the Grade
5 Eastern United States Pipe Band Championship. In 2006, Aaron placed 1st in
Grade 2 competition in the March and Strathspey/Reel Competitions at the North
American Championships in Maxville, Canada. The EUSPBA comprises 27 States
from Maine to Texas. Aaron no longer competes in piping. He is also the drum
captain for his high school marching band and a 1st Lieutenant in his MCJROTC
Unit where his is OIC for the Raiders PT competition team, and has been
recognized with several leadership, marksmanship and PT awards and ribbons.
